A young man killed himself  the other day right here in my city by taking some pills.  I know these things happen all the time, but he was on his webcam, broadcasting it over the internet with people egging him on.  Now, I don't want to sound like a bleeding heart here, because ordinarily if someone doesn't want to be here on the planet, well, adios.  Vios con dios.  More air for me.  But this guy was freakin 19 years old.  How bad can your life suck at 19 that you have to give up like that?  It disgusts me that anybody, never mind that many people, could wait as long as they did to call anyone.  That some of them were taunting and teasing him, goading the kid into doing is beyond reprehensible in my eyes.  My heart goes out to his family.
