This is great.  A new study just showed that holding something warm makes you feel somebody you're sitting with and looking at is more caring and generous, and also makes you more likely to give something to that person.  Obvious implications are that our environment plays with the way we use words like "warm person." 

Food for thought.... If you're going on a date, should you make sure that your date drinks something warm?  Could you encourage that by holding your own drink (with the concept of mirroring influencing your date to do the same)?  Could this affect the way you interview, depending on what your prospective boss is drinking?  I find this stuff MUCH more fascinating than body language!!!
