Supreme court has refused to hear a case against Obama.  I hear about this a lot from a customer at work all the time.  I've held pretty sure that if there were an issue about Obama's birthplace, he would have straightened that out before running for president.  What I don't get is why so many people are trying to shoot the guy down before he even takes office.  From the internet groups trying to get a headstart on impeaching the guy to these folks who are trying to keep him out of office in the first place.  Maybe they should have spent a little more time campaigning for somebody else.

At this point, Obama is our hope.  He is the horse our wagons are hitched to.  If we want something different than what he thinks is right, we need to keep pressure on him.  Let's be honest.  If Obama were prevented from taking office on January 20, who would the president be?  Biden? No thanks.  A flip over to McCain?  I think he's even less popular than Biden if you look at the landslide that covered up his bid for president.  More Dubya while we run another campaign and organize another election?

Seriously, Obama is a smart guy, and I doubt he's in it for the money.  Pay attention to the politics, and put your senator and congressmen on your phone list.
