FDA and fish

The FDA has started some research into the risk/benefit of eating more fish.  So they haven't put a final word on it yet, but I didn't realize that eating too much fish was bad for us.  They pick up apparently significant amounts of mercury from the water and it can accumulate in our blood, messing with our nervous and cardiac systems.  It looks like they recommend a max of two fish meals per week, except for white tuna, which should max out at 6 oz per week.

I was also surprised to learn that a full 8% of pregnant women in this country have enough mercury in their blood to affect the development of their unborn  babies.  I think I have the answer....EAT MORE STEAK!!!
