Wow, what great prizes in the cracker jacks!!!

Yet another near casualty of people not understanding their financial institutions.  An old lady withdrew her life-savings, $10,000, from her bank thinking it would be safer in a box of cookies.  She probably would never have done that if she understood FDIC. Right, MUCH safer in a box of cookies that she RETURNED to the grocery store.  First off, who the hell returns a box of crackers to the store? Fortunately for her, a family with impeccable morals purchased the box and returned it.  Maybe I'm not as warm and fuzzy as they are, or maybe I'm not as curious.  I definitely think there would have been a lot more reason for me to keep the money as a purchased good than to find out how it got there.

About a month ago, somebody left a knapsack in a Crackerbarrel bathroom with a similar amount of money in it, which also turned out to belong to an older person.

Maybe they should try juggling.
