Port St. Lucie  (i.e. South Florida, which you all know I hate) finds a lady being charged with theft.  At an accident scent.  Even though she's a firefighter.  Of a man's severed foot.  WTF?  How are there so many sick bastards on this planet?  Is it the cable TV?  Seriously.  She wanted to train a cadaver dog?  Really, that's the excuse she gave.  I'm pretty sure you're supposed to send the dog to a professional school, no?  And what the hell is the matter with a state that can't figure out how to charge her?  It's apparently not going to be a big deal because in Florida, the severity of a theft has to do with the value of the object stolen.  Since the only guy who could use it anymore didn't need it, it didn't have much of a market price, so she isn't going to do as much time as she probably ought to.

I hate this state.
