Another t.v. star loses it after taking drugs
Here is the offending member. After being fed some Xanax for anxiety, he attacked his 65 year old owner's friend and mauled her pretty badly. The owner had to run inside and call 911 before returning to the scene with a butcher knife, which was overall ineffective I guess, because the pissed-off chimp vandalized some squad cars before attempting to get into a vehicle, where he was shot by the officer inside. Yes, it's dead.
Two rules you don't want to ever forget. 1) never go into the woods without a weapon capable of stopping the biggest animal you are likely to meet, and 2) Never own an animal you are not capable of killing with your bare hands. Tragedies seem to abound anytime exotic animals kept as pets make their way into the news. I'm just sick of hearing about snakes eating family dogs, tigers crippling circus performers, whatever, because somebody is always trying to stop it and they just can't. Bottom line, we are at the top of the food chain because of our tools. Take those away, and we aren't at the top anymore. We need to remember that when we invite animals into our homes.
Because someone forgot this, a lady had to have her face put back together at a hospital. That should be the rule for owning a chimp. You want one? Come to my house, you have to kill one with your bare hands, first. Then you can have one. Because frankly, someday the life of your friend, my child, or somebody else may depend on your ability to control your animal, and if you don't have the stomach or skills to stop your animal even if you forgot your gun today, things could end very badly.
That said, I find a bit of irony in this picture from the scene of the chimpanzee incident. Look to the trees...
BEWARE OF DOG. "Nuff said.
