Uh oh, I'm getting old
I noticed the other day that I'm getting a little older. I've got the squiggly wrinkles around my eyes that I recognize from my dad's face. I'd like to take it as just a little too much time outside and the sun getting to me, but I know better. I have a family, an overtime job, too many hobbies, some grey hairs, and I talk to people who don't remember the Thundercats or GI Joe cartoons.
I'm getting old. But I'm not going to up and start searching for the best wrinkle cream. I'll wear my age with dignity. I'll be proud that I'm grown up. After all, my best days weren't in high school. I still chuckle when I see a 40 year old man or woman wearing their class ring. My life just seems to get better and better, so I'll be happy just getting older and older.
