Should have listened to Dad

When I was in school, my dad told me that I ought to go to college for any one of a dozen finance jobs or positions at a big company.  I'm starting to think maybe he was right.  I just looked through a bunch of listings where people are STILL, even in the middle of a "no money recession", hiring in at $175-$200k.  And why? For a few more years of school?  I think what really pisses me off is that I honestly thought I would be happy doing what I'm doing.  Little did I know that I would feel like the money being made by my employer was being made off my back.  Don't get me wrong.  My employers seem to me to work harder than anyone in the company, including my boss and her boss. I just want to see my family more often than I do.  *note to self-remind my kids not to screw this up 16 years from now.
