Cleopatra, I'd like some tea
I guess this is going to be just clean-up week for me, because this house was featured in Home-of-the-Year back in 2006, but I don't feel TOO bad on account of it just recently being featured on Brink. Just read the link on this one, it's well done. I think it's wild that they have it set up to do all of that. I mean, the guys at Zune still haven't let my Zune make auto playlists out of podcasts.
The article doesn't mention that they also have a barcode scanner in the kitchen, so if the kids open a can of soup or empty the milk, they just scan it, and Cleopatra emails it or something to the local grocery store, then when they go shopping, they get their whole list lickety split.
I'm pretty sure Disney did a movie about a house that had a similar control program, except it freaked out and held everyone hostage. Now that I think about it, it was probably inspired by this real house. Still cool.
