I'm talking about asbestos.  I remember being in high school and they were just finishing up changing out ceiling tiles that MAYBE had asbestos in them.  My teacher explained that we were one of the last schools to make sure it was all out of the building.  I know that we stopped manufacturing the crud for everyday use a LONG time ago.  But here we are, still sending around guys in white suits looking for the mesothelioma - causing materials. 

In the background looks like quite a nice house.  Not a mansion or anything, but I'll bet that when it was new it cost enough that the family buying it counted on it being safe.  Kinda creepy.
