need a cheap electric motor

Well, it always happens like this.  I was surfing the www, looking for things I could do with all the leftover electrical parts I have from all the broken crap that I've been desoldering, and the next thing you know, BANG, I'm reading about these guys that have turned alternators into electrical motors.  Now that's what I need.  Nobody has been too particular about it, but I know I need a few really strong magnets, and it might cost me $100 in parts.  That's a lot cheaper than some of the motors I've been looking at for an electric bike, and they claim to be making a lot more power than the motors I've been looking at too.  I think the biggest danger, though, is that my face is starting to hurt from all this web surfing.  The next thing I may need to look for is wrinkle creams.  Well, off to look for the next idea!!
