A little late, but I'm probably not the only one...
...who missed it. Wendell Potter, formerly of Cigna, the medical insurer, drops the bomb on the crappy tactics and policies of the industry. Again, anyone who thinks that what healthcare is doing right now is good or even ok is dumb and needs to be smacked silly. What really bothers me is that no matter how desperately we need reform, the people that can make it happen are being intimidated by the very people we need to control. We need to counter the threats of the industry with threats of our own. Instead of being afraid of healthcare spending against the incumbent to get his competition elected next season, we need to make it clear that unless they make real, measurable progress AGAINST the industry, WE will elect their competition regardless of the money being spent.
