I tried to make some coffee the other day, for some coffee iced cubes.  We put them in our Vitamix blender for coffee flavored smoothies, milkshakes, ice creams, whatever.  Well, the danged thing overflowed.  Apparently the basket just doesn't work so well anymore, or the filters are crap, or whatever.  All I know is that I had to clean up altogether too much coffee off the counter and the floor, so I'm not happy.  Consequently, I've been looking at new coffee makers, and I didn't realize that they had gotten so expensive.  I mean, I got mine for $10.  Of course, I don't like it.
