Let's get some whiskey
Looks like some guys are trying to get their hands on some 100-year old whiskey. I'm not quite sure what the big deal is about some booze that's been sitting around for a century or so.
"Richard Paterson, Whyte & Mackay's master blender, said the Shackleton expedition's whiskey could still be drinkable and taste exactly as it did 100 years ago." So basically, they don't even expect that it got better. Is it possible that they were any better at making a whiskey that long ago than we are today? I don't know. The one guy didn't even want to sample. Maybe it's all about the nostalgia.
Wish I had enough money to be nostalgic. Oh well, screw it. Fire up the gps and lets go get hammered!!!
