Tureky Day
Happy Thanksgiving to all of you!!! As we sit back and enjoy the company of our loved ones, lets try not to forget about everyone that can't be with their own families today. Jim sent me an email about Xerox. They set up a website a few years ago and will print any card that you pick from their website and mail it to a servicemember overseas. You can't pick a soldier or give personal information, but once a month all the letters are delivered to young men and women who need them the most. Thanks Jim.
On a side note, lets ALSO remember the folks who have to work today. I spent most of my Thanksgivings working all day. The job I have today at least closes by 2, but I got a lucky draw and had today off. This is how I see it. The only reason businesses are open on holidays is because people shop at those businesses on holidays. If we all stayed home, they wouldn't have to open, and that many more people could stay home with their families. Sure some people don't care about working, and that's fine. Let their bosses decide whether there are enough of them to run the business. But please don't be one of the people that makes it NECESSARY to open the stores today or Christmas.
Happy Turkey Day to you all!
