I always loved movies like the Terminator, with robots walking around looking just like humans, thinking autonomously, acting independently.  I guess we still have a lot of room to grow, though, especially by the looks of this ugly damned seal, Paro.

Much cooler is the dinosaur, which I also enjoyed as a kid.  Probably wouldn't have enjoyed them so much if they were still around waiting to eat me.
