Change we can believe in...

Now, how about some change we can see?  We have some kind of health care reform, and while it is mostly founded in positive movement and constructive reform, many of the changes won't take place for YEARS.  Conveniently, right around the midterm election in 2014.  Politics as usual?  Sounds like it over here.

And in the meantime, while we're waiting for all these great reforms and restrictions to take effect, the insurance marketing against it, or rather campaining against it, will only whittle down the restrictions on the behemoth industry and make it more toothless.  They have already spent billions, yes BILLIONS, advertising against the work that the congress was doing.  Give them a few more years to get a few more politicians on their payroll, maybe bankroll a couple of new congressmen through elections in 2012 and then call that favor due, and we'll see that this reform is going to be much different from what it is right now, which is already much different from where it began.  More of the same game.

Change we can believe in.
