Well, ever since I found out that I probably wouldn't have a flexible enough schedule to complete a nursing degree, I've been trying to figure out what I'll do with my education.  I'd really like the opportunity to work in a lab, just because I think that kind of work is awesome.  Not because of tv, because I know that's mostly a bunch of crap, but because I like to work through things and analyse them.  I enjoy sitting down and working out math problems for the same reason.  Of course, math and science teachers have been in demand for quite a while, and maybe in the next five years or so things will start looking up for teachers, especially since SecEd Arne Duncan says we'll need to hire over a million teachers in the next eight years.  At any rate, I don't feel bad about not having to search for a job in the health care job postings.  After all, doing a job just because I could and it paid well is what got me into restaurant management, and look how that turned out.
