Ahhh, being a renter
Well, good thing we put a security deposit on this place. I mean, we aren't tearing it up or anything, and I actually help with a lot of repairs, like buying a snake to unclog the tub, which has run slow since we moved in (not anymore, though) or using a commercial snake that the landlord rented to cut up a root and extract some piece of cloth that looked about 30 years old from the main waste pipe, and then fixing a crack in the pipe. It's an old pot-metal pipe, so it wasn't that hard, but still, it saved the guy somewhere between $100 and $200. He's a really good landlord, and a great guy, so I enjoy helping him out where I can. But anyway, I noticed today that my kids have gotten ahold of just about all the mini blinds in the place. They aren't custom blinds, so I'm sure they won't be too much to replace, but I feel a little bad anyway.
