No wonder...
...the counselors at my community college suggested I find something to do other than nursing. I mean, of course they make decent money, but the more I learn about the job the more I realize I'd probably end up cussing at someone. I think that my guy got it right: math is the place for me. I'll end up working on small teams or by myself if I can help it. That and not very many people major in math. Seems like every fourth or fifth person who comes in to shop at work is wearing dickies scrubs. I'd rather have a job that people don't even understand.

What'd I tell you a while ago? You are making the right choice with math.

Surely, I hope so. My updated plan is to minor in Education (if I ever get a masters, I can teach at a community college and perhaps eventually a University), because I can CLEP test out of credits for economics and business finance. Most colleges have their textbook requirement listed on the web, so I can get an appropriate book, and I'm sure I can learn plenty on my own to pass a test. That would put me in a really respectable position from employment terms.
